The Museum follows the County Holiday Schedule and is closed on the following days:

If Holiday is on Monday or Friday Museum is also closed that Saturday
The Depot Museum is also closed for tours and admission to patrons on the following special events:
Heritage Folk Art Day, Heritage Syrup Festival

                                            The Depot Museum Rules

The Depot Museum is a living history museum.  It is a special place. The staff and volunteers take special care to preserve the buildings and the original furnishings.  Because we love our patrons, value your opinion of the Museum and care about your safety, we ask:
  • All children be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children and parents put up materials as they use them in The Children's Discovery Center
  • Clean up any liter that may occur while using the Center's Activities.
  • Hold your child's hand when touring the backyard area.
  • Children not be allowed to climb the crow's nest of the caboose.
  • Patrons do not  touch Artifacts.
  • Do not smoke. No tolerance.
  • No food or drink in the buildings.
